My disaster hasn't gone away

How can I say? I am so sick since the beginning of this year.

Toothache, sinus headache, etc. I have gone to hospitals so many times! Even now I haven't finished my endodonic treatment. The day before yesterday I hurt my foot thumb accidentally with the back door. Milly said it should need a couple of days to recover...

In the suffer of toothache, I went to three dentists. The first one told me it's not toothache. I doubted about his diagnosis so I went to the second dentist. Unfortunately, this one was worse than the previous one!! She was a bitch! She persuaded me to spend 6'000 NT to have my tooth filled! The reason was that some people thought amalgam was poisonous. She suggested that I should use more safety materials.

I gave into her suggestion. So stupid was I!

Finally I went to the dentist near my home, who I had gone to before, to check whether the other tooth was needed to be treated. This dentist said the tooth-filling performed by the bitch was meaningless! 

Milly said I am so stupid to pay this expensive treatment. How could I know that bitch would bilked me out of my money like that!

Oh! There was one thing needed to be mentioned! I got a ticket for speeding on last Saturday. That ticket cost me 1800 NT! Shit! The prize I got in the annual party(?) can't compensate(make up for) my lost!

I am so unlucky recently. I hope the disaster WILL END in a very short time.

My late plan in 2009

The plan of a year should be made at the beginning of the year. Because I was worrying about my toothache in Jan, I had no mood to do it. Now it's time to make a plan!

There are a lot of goals for me to achieve:

1. Keep practicing English. (inclusive of writing and reading)
2. Attend the classes in IBM
   a. Strategy Management (in the first semester)
   b. Economics (in summer)
   c.  Accouning (in summer)
3. Read the Economics and Management related books
   a. Economics ( I have bought this one!)
   b. Management (It should be put in the first priority!! For the SM classes!!)
   
4. Get more Certifications in technology:
   a. SCBCD (It should be achived before July!)
   b. SCJD (It's the hardest one!)
       i.  Thread handling and synchronization
       ii. Swing (and AWT to the extent necessary to support Swing)
       iii.Standard file IO (java.io, not java.nio)
       iV.Either: Socket-based network programming and serialization _or_ Java RMI (Java Remote Method Invocation) (your choice of one or the other, not both).
   c. CCNA
       ｏtry to attend the company's class!!
   d. PMP (option)
5. Prepare the entrance exam of IBM
   ｏfollow the way of an experienced man 我的MBA學習之旅
   ｏCase Analysis
   ｏManagement
   ｏEconomy

Sweeney Todd--The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street

I love Tim Burton's movies. I like the strong contrast in his movie. He usually uses black and white to construct his scenes, like "Corpse Bride", "Edward Scissorhands", and "The Nightmare before Christmas". This movie is no exception. I haven't watched the musical version of "Sweeney Todd", but I knew it when I watched a movie called "Jersey Girl", in which the little girl wanted "Sweeney Todd" to be her musical homework. This movie let me enjoy the story and the music.

The main actorleading actor is Tim Burton's old partner, Johney Depp. He successfully acted Sweeney Todd, who is a barber losing his wife and daughter and wanting to revenge to the evil judge. The main actressleading actress is also Tim Burton's old partner, Helena Bonham Carter. But she is not so famous as Johney Depp. If you have watched some Tim Burton's movies, you can find her appearances, like the witch in "Big Fish", the mother in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". I think she is also a skillful actress. Totally this movie is a good movie, especilly its music! Though the movie is bloody and scary, it's strengh of story showed up wonderfully. I can feel the sorrow and regret of Sweeney Todd when he killed his crazy wife unintentionally. In the end of the movie, he was willing to be killed by Toby without any resistance and died with his beloved wife. I also feel lethal love of Mrs. Lovett. She loved Mr. Todd but finally was killed by him. Her dream was vanished at last...

I highly recommend this movie, if you won't be frightened by a lot of blood :)

Being calm is difficult to me.

I was frustrated today. I had to check my own programs but I didn't finish it. I encountered a strange problem, and then I started to be nervous. Because it was 5:40 and my English class started at 7:25. It took me more than one hour to go to the school and have my dinner! A senior engineer came to help me sovling it. He didn't write any program for me but help me finding out the bugs logically. Both of us needed to go to the English class and he wanted me to go together. He was a very kind person. I had the senior leave first and tried to solve it by myself. After one hour, I still can't solve this problem, so I decided to give it up and went to the class. Of course, I was late.

I felt so ashamed to be nervous when I got into troubles. I can't calm myself down and had no idea what to do next. I should learn how to be stable. Try all kinds of methods to solve problems instead of being frightened. How can you succeed to be a manager without stable character? Worry won't solve anything. I hope I will be more stable next time!
